"Have you ever stopped thinking?" Jonesy asks Mr. Shovel. "You're sure you're not on any new medication?,” asks Mr. S. No write-in win for Jonesy as Pope. The new pope had to choose a "showbiz" name. Jonesy's "showbiz pope" name would be Pope Bobby Vee. Kids today have no attention span & spend too much time on their pagers and cell phones and sidekicks. Went to the Deadsy show last night at the Whiskey.

"Name-dropper," Mr. Shovel commented. Moby will be doing a signing at the Barnes & Noble at the Grove in L.A. Jonesy played a rollicking version of "Join The Professionals."
3/31

Speaking of flatulence, Duff talked about Jonesy's penchant for introducing himself all nice and proper to head flight attendants, etc. while on tour with the Neurotic Outsiders and then suddenly farting. Jokester!! We learn that Jonesy was a skilled mountain biker before his back gave out, but Glen Matlock was not. (Was Glen at the Velvet Revolver concert in London? Billy Duffy joined Dave and Billy M. Billy D. played "Zap City" by the Cult and "Legion" by Theatre Of Hate (his band before the Cult). Sez Ian Astbury "Billy is a nice guy, nicer than me." Apparently, there is some sort of plan afoot at Indie to get Ian and Billy onstage together. Camp Freddy is playing a show at the Key Club on Jan. 27 to benefit tsunami relief. Terri Nunn, Jerry Cantrell, Juliette Lewis, etc will be there, and Jonesy "for a small fee." Speaking of Jerry Cantrell, (you know where this is going), Billy M. followed Jerry into an airplane restroom cuz he had to see if the rumours about Jerry's appendage were true. (They are. Cue soundbite of Madeline Kahn as Lily Von Schtupp from "Blazing Saddles.)
